From antenna theory
to measured prototypes.

For my master’s research, I developed two leaky-wave antenna architectures, carrying each through analysis, simulation, fabrication, and measurement.

Comparing models with physical prototypes established what the designs could actually do. The work led to a completed thesis, two IEEE journal papers, and coauthored conference publications.

Maker. Parent.

I’m Robbie. I like understanding how things work, making things with my hands, and helping people grow.

My career has taken me from antenna research to leading wireless-performance teams at Apple. I enjoy getting into a difficult problem, making sense of the evidence, and working through it with other people.

Outside work, music and hands-on projects are part of the picture too. After eleven years at Apple, I moved to British Columbia with my family. I’m now making room for the next chapter, professionally and personally.

MUSIC

A creative side.

Music production and DJing are interests I’ve carried alongside engineering. I studied music production for the enjoyment of learning about sound, synthesis, and recording.

MAKING

Learning by building.

I like projects that turn an idea into something physical. The infinity mirror brought together LEDs, electronics, and a visual effect I wanted to explore.
